Danny Boyle has confirmed a sequel to 90s classic Trainspotting will begin filming as soon as the four main cast members – Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle – can co-ordinate their schedules.

Loved the original. Not as leery about them going back to do a sequel/reboot of this as I am of Ghostbusters etc, but not sure. Haven't read the book it's based on, but what I have seen of Irvine Welsh's stuff it's been all good, so quietly optimistic...

Soz, just read the article. Presumably as its based on "Porno" he will be. Well funny character.

Was an OK book, has got the makings of a potentially decent screenplay if they get it right.
