Stood next to Jason Robinson the rugby International in the sea at Polzeath beach in Cornwall last Summer.

Considering its populated by posh rugger types in the Summer, me and my lad were the only ones who recognised him.

Was there a posh sea lift or am I missing something?

....bumped into Alan Ball standing all alone on the lawn in front of the stand at Newmarkets July course. Unashamedly told him he was my favourite footballer of all time and a hero when I was growing up.

This wins the thread for me. One of the greatest of all time

Yes he was out with his partner when I got in the same lift he spoke fondly of his time at Everton
