walk out of oxford street station. turn left. Walk 100 metres. get on tram going in the direction of your left. (follow people in footy shirts if in doubt)

get off at old trafford. walk into ground.

I've been advised not to get the tram due to the mass wait post match.
Does anyone have the TRAIN times from Man Ox Rd or Piccadilly to Manchester United?
 
don't mean to be pedantic but post match is after the game, when you will be going back towards oxford street.

you could always ask when you get there. They speak english like.
