Tough mudder!

My mate's done it and said it was boss. No training but then he's a five time national boxing champion, so I'm not sure you could match that fitness and not train!

Looks like a great thing to do if you're into that stuff. Would I f'k do it myself, though.

Cool we'll i. Doing it in September. Some people will say I'm a bellend but I'm certainly not solid lol

I was just messing about Kev. I've never done tough mudder. Know loads that have though. They all thought it was a good laugh. £70 is it now?

I did it last year, no training, signed up on the day. Ran it in about 4 hours. There's nothing really that difficult about it. It's a good laugh though and plenty of muddy ladies.

I did one the other month in Auckland. There were huge fellas doing it and just walking/jogging. To be honest I thought it would be harder. I would say as long as you can run 6 miles comfortably you will be sound as there is plenty of breaks for obstacles. Those electric shocks though....christ. They do not tickle!

This is the only thing.

I'd piss the distance and would be ok with cold water, but the electric shock thing is what puts me off. Don't like them one bit.

I was expecting like an electric fence type of shock. No. There were two electric obstacles on the Auckland one. One was where you crawled under barbed wire with the electric wires dangling down. Hell. I couldn't crawl fast enough and I got zapped about 5 times, one on the ear which seriously left a mark for a few weeks. The second is at the very end where everyone's watching so you cant [Poor language removed] out. You just sprint through about 10 - 20 meters of them, again, you get zapped about 4 or 5 times. My mate who was just watching said he saw a fair few people just collapse in the middle of it, then get up a few seconds later dazed as [Poor language removed]. It is a serious shock.
