Was the tottenham game rescheduled? cos my ticket says saturday and the interweb states the match is on sunday. will my ticket be valid if this is the case?

As for your original question. I'm sure the game was originally scheduled for a sat when the fixtures came out but was moved to a Sunday due to European commitments pretty much straight away.

Mine says Saturday too. I got mine from the ticket office.

That's what happened, I bought mine in person from the box office on the day they went on sale & they've got Saturday's date on them. They were obviously printed well in advance

you should all still go on saturday, just in case. take a flask of coffee and one of those fat flasks with some hotdogs in, at least if you have to wait 'til sunday it will be practice for the toys'r'us queue in a couple of weeks.
