I'm not sure how much the stats really tell us. Newcastle and United both seem to be heavily reliant on a trio of players for their goals. Whereas Spurs and Chelsea spread them around more.

Our next top scorers are Barkley and Baines (3), Oviedo, Barry, Mirallas and Osman (2). If we can find another striker to help lift the burden on Lukaku, if Jelavic can rediscover his goalscoring touch or if our midfielders (especially Barkley, Mirallas and Pienaar) can improve their goal return hopefully we can kick on in the second half of the season.

All it tells me is that you are not very good at presenting stats. :P
Why choose 3 players from a few teams, 2 from some and only 1 from others?

Be consistent in your criteria and they may make a bit more sense.

That's the BBC's top scorers list with everyone who has scored 4 or more goals.

I would suggest the facts tell us that the RS are fooked without Suarez, that City have plenty of players who are capable of banging the goals in, that United could do with some more goals from midfield and that Newcastle made a great signing in Remy. Apart from that I couldn't really say too much.

Maybe the interesting thing is that with Sturridge, Aguero, Van Persie and Ramsey recently being out injured their teams have had mixed fortunes.

Will the others drop away if Remy, Hazard or Lukaku suffer an injury?
