Top Bloos

There have been a few for me. It's always the times in the big games where you think "Maybe things will go our way today" and then they go the other way.

The Martial last-minute winner in the 2016 semi was the last one I remember. Why do they get the benefit of a little bobbly ricochet bit of nonsense and we don't? It's heartbreaking.
We did get a bit of luck in the semi final vs. Liverpool when Carragher messed up and allowed Jelavic to score. However, of course we had to then gift them a goal to make it even.

i think its a fair comment to say nobody has an issue with being unhappy with any part of our extremely frustrating annoying stupid loser awful wonderful club. it is a very easy organisation to be unhappy with.

what gets the reaction mostly from top bloos, reasonable bloos and fencesitting bloos alike is the utterly dull repetition of the same negative points over and over and over again on a daily basis across various threads. often paying no attention to any other points made on the subject.

IMO

you are quite good at this as this post suggests !

There is a few wind up merchants more bothered about getting someone “mad” than the results/situations of the club. I find that weird.

Im sure we all like a laugh, we should do as blues, the constant pushing of it is something I’d expect from some of them lot across the park tho.

I’ll never understand why people can’t just simply disagree, instead they attempt to put down a opposing view or try to shame the person who’s opinion they don’t like. And for what? It comes across as being a bit of a tosser IMO.

I really think everyone’s even more on edge than usual because of that lot. If they were just merely good, hopping between Europa and CL and never seriously threatening to win stuff, we wouldn’t be nearly as angry about Everton’s perennial midtable-ness.

Can’t agree mate from a personal perspective , whatever they don’t achieve shouldn’t result in a serene mindset for us. It should be about us and us wanting/hoping to do better.

Sadly I think some will turn into those they mock now on here and other places should they win the league this season or the next and that says a lot.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t despise them if they feel that way, I’d just like to see more of us hope for better regardless of what they do.

Who’s arsed about them ?

They’re just another team, with the accolade of having possibly the most laughable set of fans on the planet.

See I want to believe it’s possible to not let that affect how you feel about your own team... but it just isn’t.

I’m going through an almost identical situation with my college’s gridiron team. We have been trying to get our act together and win a trophy for years. Usually the team is pretty good, but it has never finished top. Meanwhile our nearby neighbors have won a cabinet full and they are on a winning streak of what seems like a million games in a row. This wouldn’t be so bad if their fans weren’t complete helmets and the people running the team weren’t cynical to the core, but they are. Up until a few years ago we were a little upset to have not won anything. Now we are absolutely raging. It’s nice that everyone else despises them too, but it’s also not much solace.

Watching a team you hate get everything you ever wanted while you get nothing has a huge effect on the way you feel about your own team. To say otherwise is denial.
