First time was against QPR with the presentation against West Brom (night)

I'm sure it was Luton at home on the Saturday, after we'd clinched it with Psycho pat's early goal away at Norwich on the Bank Holiday Monday. I think Luton went a goal up but we came back to 3-1 maybe.

Then it was Spurs at home on the Monday night, I'm sure they rested a fair few as they had the Cup Final against Coventry at the end of that week.

luton is spot on .sealy god rest his soul kicking the ball out the ground when tricky scored a pen

I've got a season ticket up there and the view of the game is excellent, you miss nothing and can see the build up of play rather nicely. There is only an atmosphere for the big games, but when it comes to those games it's just as anywhere else in the ground. My seats are right at the back of TB2 so there is an excellent space were you can place drinks and programmes and pies. Best way to enjoy the game.

Great feedback everyone, ta.

I do have a bit of a fear of heights.... but if anything that is making me more interested in giving it a go!
I looked up from the park end against Blackpool and wondered what it must be like all the way up there...

Top balcony is the best view by far. Ive had my season ticket there for 16 years and I find that now when I go to any pre season friendlies/testimonials etc, and the TB is closed, I end up sitting in Park End, and its so hard to judge depth, etc, especially so the closer to the pitch you get.

Atmosphere wise, its not like sitting in "the middle", singing from beginning to end, but when its up, it spreads all over the ground, including the Top Balcony. I like the atmosphere by where I sit, so I guess its persoal preference really.

And its nowhere near as high or as steep as you might think either. It is steeper than the other stands, but that is a good thing, as each row is is 2 steps deep instead of 1, meaning theres no chance of the person in front of you getting in your way.

I always sit in the top balcony as it has the best views in the entire ground. It can feel a little steep if you have had a few light ales or a hangover though!! I agree that the atmosphere is not as vocal as the gwladys street, however, i will never forget the brilliant euphoric feeling after coming back to draw 3-3 against Utd and the victory against the red s***e when Gosling scored - it can hold its own when Goodison is bouncing.

The top top balcony is very quiet, and cold. You'll feel isolated, and lonely x

Been up there only once, it felt like I was watching a giant telly, good preparation if you ever plan to sit in in Newcastles John Hall Stand as you really are up in the bloody clouds then
