1. Man Utd- I think the younger players like of Nani, Evans, Fabio and Valencia will really grow in stature this year. I also feel like senior players such as Berbatov, Scholes, Park and Owen will enjoy greater consistency. I see them becoming less reliant on Rooney.
2. Chelsea- They've let go of a lot of experience in Belletti, Cole, Ballack, Deco and Carvalho. I can't see that they have young players ready to replace them. I think they'll find themselves stretched this year if they suffer injuries.
3. Arsenal- They seem to be another side reaching maturity. I still think they lack the steel and determination to win the league.
4. Man City- Their buying policy appears to be adhoc. It's hard to see how Boateng and Toure in particular will improve the side. They wouldn't appear to have the focus or cohesion to mount a title challenge.
5. Liverpool- They have appointed the right man for the job. I'm not sure if they've improved at all with their summer signings. Hodgson will get the most out of the players at his disposal though.
6. Tottenham- I feel that they'll hit a plateau, as Harry looks for the key to taking Spurs to the next level. They may become distracted from the league by European football.
7. Everton- We have the players to do well, but the rigid team shape and cautious tactics will mean that we'll too often settle for a draw rather than risking defeat.
I'm listening to you next year, mate.
