Too Much Football

Gol TV here in Spain have been covering the FA Cup live.So yesterday I watched both games. Then a live Spanish game Girona V Mallorca, then goal highlights of the La Liga games.I know there is an Off button, but it's as though I'm hypnotised.Anybody else just end up feeling drained?
Teledeporte, but yeah, watched both games on Sunday through a bleary eyed haze then fell asleep in the chair last night watching Sutton v Arsenal.

Don't watch half as much as I used to. Always watch the live CL game they show on Tuesdays and the round up on Wednesdays.

Can't afford to go to the bar for the live satellite games all the time.

I record MOTD now. I can fast -forward through the 'analysis' and crap games like Stoke v WBA.
Good shout. There's more pseudo analysis and chat than there is highlight, most if the time. Must be cheaper that way, if they're paying royalties.

I won't give sky or bt any of my had earned to waste on over paid players, so I only watch motd these days if we win by enough goals to not be last on it. Isn't often. Having said that, I find after around 10 minutes of a live game, my thumbs start twitching and I feel compelled to turn on the playstation and play a better match on pes.

Bring back Jimmy the Chin I say.

Different for me due to the time zone, but if the early kick off (8pm local time) is a decent team I will watch it, then get to choose which 3pm game to watch having a few beers while the wife and kids are in bed
Sundays are pretty much the same.
If Everton are playing an evening game, I will usually get up to watch it (4am local time)

Can't remember the last time I sat and watched a whole match, just watch highlights if anything. 3pm on a Saturday gets in the way of the day.

I listen to a few football podcasts at work, get most of info from them.

More chance I'd have Sunday games on in the background through streaming.

I dont even like football now, love Everton but the game in general just doesnt interest me,I cant remember the last time I watched a final for the full 90 minutes let alone a league game

I have Sky, BT, and a smattering of European channels showing football, so get Belgian and Swiss league football as well in addition to the major European Leagues.

Overall, there is too much football and I don't watch wall-to-wall but it is great to have a choice between so many leagues and competitions.

Aside from Everton, I don't actually watch a great deal of PL football and on a given Sunday, can choose between all the main European leagues.

I tend to go for Serie A as a preference and then La Liga/Ligue 1. The Bundesliga has never particularly caught my eye for some reason, perhaps the dominance of Bayern Munich.

I used to watch this sometimes catch the Prem goals at about 2am,but decided my sanity was more important.
