It could be another Leeds situation.

They really are a poor poor team without ladyboy and Gerrard. How is Rafael still there? He's made some awful signings that will need clearing up when Torres leaves in January. Two big examples are Voronin and Babel....just shocking!!

I don't see 'em doing a Leeds only because Gillett and Hicks will sell out to some Middle Eastern consortium and they'll just reload.

But I don't think they'll make the Champions League next year. Right now, I see them finishing 5th or 6th at best.

Take kuyt (who does all the dirty work up front imo) out and Carragher (I know he's overrated and not even on form but performs a similar role as Pip for us) and they'd be in the relegation zone
