Player Valuation: £90m
mourinho has sent out his reserves (kaka, canales, granero etc) for the trip to valencia (who are third in la liga).

they are currently (after 41 minutes) four nil up.

the second goal is one of the most stupid defensive ****ups of the entire year.

that is all.

Canales is amazing, i heard a weird rumour we wanted him on loan.

On and that result is ridonkulous.

Oh dear ultra defensive Mou lost two of the last three, and Carvalho sent off!

They'd already lost the title anyway, really, so it's not like that matters.

Exactly. They rested a few tonight and a had a player called Nacho playing...

Perhaps - though it is dangerous given that he has started rows with most of the senior people at the club, has lost games like this (and the one against Sporting) that they never should given how much money is in that squad, kicked things off with UEFA in a way that even they might not be able to quietly sort out, seems determined to cause big divisions in the best squad that Spain have ever had, and most importantly shown no evidence at all that the gulf in skill between them and Barcelona is any less than it was when he took over.

The only thing he can point to is a home draw in the league clasico, and one Copa del Rey - won in an incredibly negative manner, and which could quite easily be forgotten about if Barcelona win the League and CL double. If he was anyone else he would be sacked at the end of the season.

You can't employ Mourinho and be surprised when he rubs up people the wrong way though, surely?

And hey, beating Barca in the final of a cup is certainly a step in the right direction. As I've said before, it will take time to usurp Barca because they've been doing the groundwork for this team for 20 years; teaching them as children.
