It was always gonna be a hefty goblet that one.

Spartak are playing if you want to watch Bily.

They are playing Fenerbahce, so you can watch the defensive stylings of Yobo as well in this game. So far its 0-0, with the Fenerbahce defence appearing to be banned from communicating with each other.

Celtic first leg tie against Helsingborgs should be decent. If they dont go through to the CL group stages, I can see them getting shut of a couple of players in the 48 hours after the second leg. They have debt to pay down and with Rangers out of the way they can sell and still win the SPL with ease.

I think Dundee United have the players to push Celtic if they go on a good run early in the season. If they can hold onto their squad, which is probably unlikely as i think maybe one of their star players will go, they'll do better than expected.

I always think maybe Hearts will break through. There's defo an opportunity now up there for someone to challenge the OF dominance of the two CL qualifying places for a decade to come, never mind the next three seasons.

I dunno about that. Once Rangers get back to the top tier, and they will eventually, the sheer mass of the club will once again make it a two-team race as the others can`t compete given the size of Ibrok and Parkhead and the sponsorship revenue the OF always commands. of urse, if Rangers are as badly run as what got them where they are now, all bets are off. I would welcome a more competitive SPL; the last 20 years have been a joke.
