Tomorrow's attendance

Player Valuation: £60m
Looking at the official site's eticketing page, tomorrow's attendance is going to be appalling when you take into account it's our first game of the season. I know it'll probably shoot up to 37k tomorrow but it's so sad to see the disillusionment of the fan base for off the pitch matters being taken out on the team.

I'll be there, disillusioned as I am. Unfortunately the fans seem to have no control/influence on off pitch matters so it's pointless in my opinion to do our best to ensure our small power of control over on the pitch matters is lost too. The players do notice, and they'll notice tomorrow when they see several thousand empty seats at a club as big as ours on opening day. If you've not got a ticket yet get behind the boys ffs!

I support Everton to watch eleven players doing occasional ace things on a green, green pitch. I didn't want to come on here to try and pretend I'm a chartered accountant or big business advisor.

It will be nice for it to be about the footie thing weekend and for those doing all the shouting about the off field stuff to take a well earned rest.

Why the flick did I hire you to look over my tax returns. FFS

I'll be there to comfort you,
Build my world of dreams around you, I'm so glad that I found you
I'll be there with a love that's strong
I'll be your strength, I'll keep holding on

I think we'll have a good crowd tomorrow, first game and all that. It's about time we had a good start to the season and the fixture list gives us half a chance. I can't wait for the game and will support the lads from start to finish. Having said that I expect to have plenty of room to stretch my legs against Sheffield Utd on Wednesday.

Not sure where you're getting this from mate. I've just been on there and the only seats left seem to be obstructed views, which is pretty much the story of every game we play except for the 'Big 4'.

For example, the MS1 section of the main stand supposedly has 'very good' availability, but there's nothing but obstructed views left:

Agree with the second paragraph wholly however. Regardless of the situation off the pitch us Blue's should stick together and get right behind the 11 lads on the pitch tomorrow. The last thing they need is fans staying away because of our financial dire straights.

Ironic really seeing as I won't be there tomorrow, Wednesday night though!
