Tokyo Police Club

Just saw these guys last night in a small club here in St. Louis. They're out of Toronto. Frickin' awesome! A band called Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin (from around here) opened. Both were great. For the music clique (you know who your are) you should check them both out if you're not already aware. Here's a taste from both bands.

By the way SSLYBY all changed instruments halfway through the show. Singer/guitarist went to drums, bassist switched to vocals and guitar, and the drummer moved to bass. First time I've ever seen that. Impressive.

I've actually got into Tokyo Police club recently. They're pretty darn good. Quintessentially indie, minus the being rubbish part

I checked out SSLYBY. They seem pretty good, but maybe a bit too cheery for me!

They have two since then that are way better in my opinion. "Champ" is their latest, and "Elephant Shell" is good too, although I'm not as familiar with that one. Listening to it now.
