Howard kendall speaks to sky sports.Dont know if you'v seen it this morning but he's full of praise for the gaffer an the boys. Nice to hear are most famos manager, fully beliving this team will do somthing.
Howard Kendall believes Everton are on the verge of recreating the glory days of the 1980s when he was manager.
Kendall led the Toffees to two league titles during his first spell in charge, and he returned to the club in the 1990s to rescue them from relegation.
David Moyes' current crop may not yet be serious title contenders, but they are pushing city rivals Liverpool for fourth spot, remain in the UEFA Cup and next week host Chelsea in the second leg of a Carling Cup semi-final.
The Merseysiders will have to overturn a 2-1 deficit if they are to reach Wembley, but Kendall told Sky Sports News: "I honestly believe they will go through.
"At Goodison Park now there's an atmosphere where the fans believe something is going to happen.
"They're right behind the side, and the team go out there and believe that they're going to win every game.
"The UEFA Cup is a possibility and, while the FA Cup was a disaster, I did fancy them for a cup. They can finish very high up the league also.
"They've got strength in depth, which they didn't have when David Moyes first took over, and he has players who are versatile.
"I think he's got a strong squad of players who can go and do something this season."
