Some were satisfied with it and deemed it disappointing but progress all the same.

It was a disappointing result in the end but a fair one. My positive is that we seem much stronger mentally and can dig in for a point.

Remaining unbeaten is a big thing and it's another small step towards where we need to be.

No point crying about a point gained.

I haven't noticed the rapscallion about lately, which is great as he's a good 4 years past his sell by date.

There have been some lovely signs of progress in the last couple of months. However it is still a work in progress. We're no where near the finished artcle yet so in that context, a draw and a clean sheet away is pretty good from my point of view.

Having said all that, if we don't smash Sunderland I'm making a banner and hiring a plane.

Would have loved the 3 points obviously but a clean sheet and extending the run to nine games unbeaten, I would certainly have taken that if it was offered after December's derby defeat.
