so i've feeling a bit more positive today after wallowing in misery all of yesterday...

atleast we can say its never boring to be a blue, nothing can ever be taken for granted. i wouldn't have seen yesterdays defeat like that coming in a million years, we better snot burnley to make up some of that difference.

Don't we have a European qualifier on Thursday mate? I can see us dropping out of the comp at this stage a la Standard Liege. The parallels with last year's start to the campaign are too similar to ignore.

*sigh*

at least we're consistent

you have to remember, its just one loss.

how often does goal difference actually end up changing our finish? its bad i know, but chances are in the grand scheme it will turn out to be as bad as a 1-0 loss in stoppage time in terms of its affect on the way we finish this season.

we lost to arsenal, thats all that happened.

you say we're consistent, i think one of our greatest weaknesses (though right now our greatest strength) is that we're inconsistent. we don't typically fall into bad spells for very long, and i think moyes is quality enough of a manager to make sure the team puts last weekends loss behind us.

there are positives, its not as though we had a full strength squad and everyone played to their potential and we still just couldn't quite get by them. we played like [Poor language removed], good players played like [Poor language removed]. which is okay, because if they're good players they're capable of playing like good players. i have faith that moyes can sort it out by thursday.

european qualifiers have been a tricky point for us for some time now, who knows maybe moyes had one eye on that game at the weekend and it may have distracted the team. guess we'll see what happens.
