I'm still bitter England decided not to join the four nations cup so as to suck up to FIFA, much rather play in that then pointless friendlies against denmark.

They really need to bring the four nations thing back. Saw a documentary on the England/Scotland rivalry and it was ace. Full of rioting and ancient grudges and pitch invasions.

The official excuse was "fixture congestion" but it was really because it was thought it would damage our chances of getting the world cup. FIFA have never really liked us being four teams rather than one.

It was a bad call by the FA, imo. You can tell it was because they started making more enthuiastic noises about it after we lost the bid to russia.
