Dortmund are the German version of the RS. Prefer to look out for Schalkes results

The Dortmund/Liverpool love in last year in the Europa League was revolting. They used to be my favourite German team as well. But i switched to Schalke after that.My fondness for them incresed after Ajax got the better of them in the quarter finals of this years Europa League and their Dortmunds regional rivals as well.Klass Jan Huntellar an Ajax legend also plays for them.So yeah eff you Dortmund im supporting your local neighbours now out of spite you Kopite loving muppets.lol

I will be cheering them on on Wednesday, as me and the lad are off to Stockholm for the Europa League final.

Enjoy and hopefully Ajax will do the business. With what happened in Manchester earlier football seems a little trivial and meaningless. But it does provide a welcome distraction and something to cling to in what is becoming an increasingly broken world.

Very good, Hull.

Have a great time :)

Was it easy scoring the tickets?

Missed out on the UEFA ballot. But booked it last August so still going and hope to get one but if not watch in a bar. Will be booking Lyon for next year, and there is always the hope that we are there.

As most of you know Everton and Ajax in that order are my two footballing passions. The only other league i have in interest in (apart from the Bundesliga) is the Russian Premier League due to a likeness i have for the country and the city of Moscow in particular.Spartak Moscow were my favourite Russian team until i stumbled into a video on youtube. It showed all the Spartak Moscow fans behind the goal with all the red flags and red scarves and i said to myself sweet Jeesus these people resemble Russian Kopites! Then i noticed that the slogan you never walk alone was on quite a few Spartak Moscow scarves and that was my dragon dens moment.Im out i said to myself! What was i doing supporting a team in Red from Moscow when there was a Blue alternative in Dynamo Moscow.Dynamo were the first team from the old soviet block to visit Britain for a tour during world war two.

Their goalkeeper Lev Yashin is probably Russia's most famous football player. He played for Dyanmo for his entire footballing career and of course he played for the USSR in their 1966 World cup semi final at Goodison.Dynamo's glory years were in the 1930's 40's and 50's.They last won the Russian League in 1976 and they last won the Russian Cup in 1995.They were the only team in Russia not to get relegated from the top flight until last year. They won back promotion to the top flight this year though. The Blue shirts, the glorious history only to hit hard times and the amount of top flight seasons they played.Dynamo Moscow just struck me as the Russian Everton and they are my Russian team now. What was i at?Supporting a Red team in Moscow when the city had a team that play's in Blue.Seeing that this thread is about people changing allegiances due to a clubs supporters Kopite behaviour, i thought i'd share this story and just give Dynamo Moscow their 5 minutes.

I'd just like to add that Dynamo Moscow are the oldest team in Russia.Their two most recent Russian cup wins were in 1984 and 1995.The same years as Evertons two most recent FA Cup wins. They could have had the privilege of being beaten by us in the 1985 European Cup Winners Cup final if it wasn't for Rapid Vienna beating them in the semi final.I think the phrase the Russian Everton i christened them with is very apt.

I was in a male voice choir until the conductor said we were going to perform that dirge. I stopped attending rehearsals (made no fuss mind) and have now dropped out.

I never said the real reason why - just claimed it was pressure of work
