To make the FA Cup more prestigious....

The current CL has basically killed football.

The group system and seeding has killed any chance of teams from less noted leagues (netherlands, belgium scotland, sweden etc) getting to the latter stages and so the domestic leagues have been unable to hold onto thier players.

And it's cemented power heirachys in the top leagues due to the fact the top 4 get the CL money and the rest of the league doesn't.

No seriously, that is spot on. Not to mention the TV money as well which is what it's all about. The gap grows bigger and bigger year on year.

I think the winners should get the equivalent of 4th place in the premiership. Do away with 4th place for champions league. Top three and the FA Cup winner. Does anybody else agree with this? More teams will focus on the greatest cup competition of all time even more and it will certainly bring some magic back into it. It's the ****ing FA CUP!!

Don't think it's such a bad idea at all. But you'd have to take away the non-seeding aspect of the FA Cup to reduce the possibility of it becoming a bit of a joke. And that probably isn't going to happen.

More prize money should be available so team like wigan and millwall will get that finacial push on . Also make top 2 sides of every league compete for champions league then 3rd 4th 5th and fa cup winner compete in europa . Doaway with the euro league qualifaction throught the league cup

not really anything i can add to the first page, cena, jock and mikey nail it with how it should be set up. i mean the champions league now is a real test of being the best in europe because there are so many top teams, but i've got to be honest, not much of the games are great. should just be top 2, less games and hopefully a higher standard. would mean we'd never get there, but hey, the league would become more competitve imo, not this only 3 possible winners every year crap.

sadly, morons control this beautiful game of ours and that won't change any time soon
