Being widely reported that his cancer has come back. Barca have cancelled their pre-Christmas dinner, statement expected shortly which will presumably also announce a replacement.

The club statement seems to suggest he could be back working. Time will tell.

I assume assistant manager Jordi Roura will take over for the time being.

Reports saying he's had surgery and the doctors are "optimistic". Also that this case is "not as bad" as the first time he had it.
