Hello folks,

I've always been sort of fixated on North Korea and would love to visit, but am aware of the impracticalities surrounding a trip there, especially in the current climate.

Swerving that, I've also always wanted to visit Asia in general, and am considering it this year, as I've loads of holidays to take from work and my other half ain't got any left, so I'd be going alone, which tbh I'd prefer.

At the moment I am thinking of Seoul in South Korea, but am really open to be persuaded by others who've experienced places first hand and can recommend them.

I don't wanna go to Thailand or China, or anywhere like Indonesia or the Philippines. I might be tempted by Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam, but I reckon as a lone traveller that Seoul would be better and easier. Also got one eye on Tokyo, too.

So, anybody visited that part of the world? If so, let's have your experiences and recommendations here!

Thanks!

I loved borneo, but then again, i thought Thailand and Indonesia were great so our tastes may differ. Borneo was amazing and might be worth u looking in to. Depends what u r after though really.
