id be gutted if timmy went, not on form now hasnt been for a while
but no matter what hes a legend, i think he is anyway an the love he shows
for the club not comparing him to duncan but hes along them lines since hes joined his
goals have helped us win games / finisher higher in the league whatever we get for him
probably wouldnt be much anyway would love to be there when he retires still a blue
at goodison rather him even stay another whatever amount of seasons then go back to australlia than
sell him to a prem side wouldnt like seeing him in another team hes our timmy, like teta was
but hes going nowhere, hope so anyway

No its not! Peter Reid and Kevin Ratcliffe got a ton of abuse towards the end of their careers for us. As did Kevin Campbell to a lesser extent.

That doesnt mean that we dont remember them fondly afterwards. The club may honour them by letting them play beyond their prime (which is asking for trouble really) but the fans certainly dont.

I wonder how many players started looking elsewhere when those two were getting the abuse then?

Having said that, it's also incumbent upon the player to know when the time is right to retire as well...

i know people are saying we need the money, but if we are what we say we are
the peoples club' then selling cahill is a defo no. proud of the club no matter what
but just think if we did keep him for that sake how much more it would make you feel,
