Apologies if there is a similar thread somewhere!! As much as I hate it the players need to now start harassing refs and demanding red cards more - I mean how may should have gone this season? Cisse Walters Mangala Gomez off the top of my head. We make it easy for refs to show yellows by not intimidating and getting in their faces like all other clubs seem to. I know we are poor but this makes a difference to the result and thats all that matters. Refs seem happy to give yellows as there are no complaints and no media outrage with us. Similarly sick of other clubs players screaming in agony and banging the floor to ensure we get yellows only to skip off like bambi seconds later!!!

Cisse has been charged by the FA for violent conduct. EFC are bad at the minute for sure, but a lot of things aren't going our way either. Maybe harrassing Refs like Chelsky and Man U do,wouldn't do any harm.

We need to use every trick in book to get a win...........yesterday Coleman should of stayed down and the other players should of converged on the ref.......Eto summed up how nice and soft we are kicks the ball out while were attacking because Tiote got smacked in the bollocks by the ball.....would Diego Costa do that ? We have no leaders on the pitch urging the players on .........Martinez was a disgrace making Barry captain worse player on the pitch.

Agreed. I hate nice guys on the football pitch. You're there to win, not make friends.

Get in the officials' heads, get in the opponents' heads, clip heels off the ball, stand on toes, insult people, put in snide tackles when necessary, claim for everything and apologise for nothing.

I actually saw Baines or someone tell the ref not to book an opposition player a while back. Swerve that. It could be the difference between winning and losing.

- we've made the least fouls in the league.
- we've made the second fewest tackles.
- we've been fouled the most.

I'm not asking for us to become Stoke, but come on, we're being hacked to pieces and not fighting back.

Didn't effect us last year, or even under Moyes.

It's been years since we had tough characters in the team. It's the tactics that are the problem not the personalties being asked to follow them out.
