Whilst having to deal with Kopites in football terms is always an unpleasant, often bewildering and always fruitless endeavour that requires a person to abandon logic, embrace delusion and ignore hypocrisy.

To the point, they’re insufferable. The announcement of this European Super League with that ‘lot’ as Founding Members could technically be another legitimate reason to maintain our dislike for them. I’m not too sure.

That being said, our City’s passion for our teams and the fierce rivalry must absolutely be set aside entirely (temporarily) to allow Blue and Red to come together with sincerity and our combined resources and support to let the powers that be know greed is the last reason we’d dismantle our sacred pastime.

Please don’t demonise LFC or their fans for something they are clearly revolted by just as much as everyone else who’s team isn’t part of this sickening venture.

Why wouldn't we demonise LFC? They are joining the ESL. Also, klopp saying don't blame us, we didn't know is a poor excuse. They continue to play for/manage the rs because they are being paid, therefore they are all complicit.
 
If the vast majority of their support is against this plan then the fanbases are already united in that sense.

However, we cannot unite with them as a club while they continue to pursue this new ESL. We should distance ourselves from the club and their owners as much as possible.

I don't demonise the fans of any of the scab clubs. It's the owners and their self serving greed responsible for all of this.

We already can safely assume that the legacy fans have little to no sway in this and are expendable for new fans with a greater potential access to revenues.

I welcome their protests however. We need to kick the clubs out pronto. My only concession would be to give them one last chance to return to the fold and bin off the Euro Scab League immediately before they were ejected from the league and their records erased from the history books. If they want to return after the Euro Scab League fails due to its inherent lack of meaningful sporting competition, then they know they have to come crawling back and start from the very bottom of the footballing pyramid as new entities.
 
Trawling through Facebook club pages - the fans of most of the greedy 6 clubs are unitef in being vocally revolted in what their clubs intend doing.

The rs page had a few, but too many of their customers were trying to see the good in it, for themselves.

The red club in Liverpool have long been cheats. They will lie and scheme and stab you in the back, bite you or spit in your face at the first opportunity if it made them feel 0.01% better. I'd rather side with a 4 week dead badger soaked in its own stale urine than unite with that shower.

This mis-judged idea will be their downfall. Let them plummet.
 

They've made it pretty clear they don't want to collaborate with the rest of the teams in the league, so the 6 of them can get lost and play their friendlies in China. My hope is that long term it will benefit football. I don't know how but fingers crossed.
 
Due to last weeks coach attack, it’s only a matter of time before before somebody dies again, so for that reason alone, bollocks to the lot of them. They know this is true but don’t care.

you think they’d not take every opportunity to turn the knife on us or anybody else?
we stood in solidarity with them over Hillsborough, yet they still insist on labelling every blue “bitter”.

Rats to a man, one and all. Vile football club, vile fans.
