He has been for the last couple of seasons. He is better than Andy Townsend, Jim Beglin and some of the other pillocks they have on TV. Always provides good insight, and shares his experiences from our matches.

I like his in site, specifically in a match last year that featured Man City. Yaya was captain and decided to pick the other side of the pitch than where the teams warmed up. Tim mentioned that this is a tactic used to disrupt the other teams goalie and was probably discussed days in advance.

I have never heard a commentator talk about something like that.

He talked really well about Stones during his commentary yesterday.

I wish he had kept the tourrets though. Now, that would be worth tuning into.

Actually one of the better ones out there. Gives you insight to what the actual players are thinking. Was good hearing him on De Gea yesterday too, especially after some worldy saves. Just watch and copy him Tim lad.

Stays firmly glued to his chair and never leaves the announcer box. Often times there are easy points to be made only they go right over his head.
