I disagree about Ching Bill. He needs to go. At one point he collected the ball about 8 yards from the 18 on the right, had acres of space. I thought he was coasting when he should have gone for it. Had it been anybody with any sort of speed they would have exploited the situation, burst forward into the box and easily got a shot off, instead he struggled to make it to the 18 before he was closed down. He is too slow for international football.

You're basing your assessment on one play in the match?

I watch Ching weekly and they guy is defintely a danger man up front. I will say he's a back to the goal type of player and is more dangerous on crosses and getting on the end of set pieces. He's never ever been a player to take someone on. That's never been his game.

It was never Duncan Ferguson's game either and he didn't do to bad as a goal poacher.

You defintely have to watch who you partner with him however. Another hold up type of player combined with Ching would be senseless.

Admittedly, I think he needs to get on the scoresheet though as we've got some younger, up and coming forwards who could take his place. My guess is that if Altidore had been available, Ching would have been on the bench.

Ching is MLS quality at best

not a fan of him what so ever

and yes, I have watched him a bunch over the past 2 seasons

Well I think Ching should be on the team just as a sub. He's one player who if the US is getting dominated in a match and only down by a goal, you can put him in and go route 1 with his back against the goal and he can turn, fire a good shot and nick a goal against the run of play.

I think despite the lack of strikers, we have good scoring in the back and can now hang with any team that plays a physical game (Italy, England, Poland). However we can't hang with the quicker finesse teams who have quick passing (Argentina, Germany).

I love how Bradley is taking the team on the road against quality teams. If he was the coach in the world cup we could have advanced to the round of 16.

Adu is getting better he just still has a bit of an ego and still wants to drift in the middle of the pitch behind the strikers where he is completely ineffective. He has to sit on the wing where he has lots of space and can beat anyone in the world one on one.

Well he'd did absolutely nothing tonight against NE so he isn't helping old TX Bill here.

We got stomped 3-0.
