Player Valuation: £750k
[Poor language removed] me. Just went to book my WBA ticket for next week -- Lower Gwladys £37!!!! Same game last season was £32. I know its the first home game of the season but that's taking the p***. With an extra £20m from TV rights this season and guaranteed for the 3 seasons after that to be putting prices up that much is a disgrace -- and don't tell me to be thankful because they are higher elsewhere. Football's gone mad. And so am I at the moment.

Let's hope Martinez does well or attendances will plummet at these prices.

How much do you think Bouncy castles cost? if you check the back of your ticket you,ll see your entitled to one free bounce.

Not quite that simple really is it? Money/location/work/family/being arsed etc all come into it.

OP is just pointing out that £37 is pretty steep for a game against West Brom.

Still £10 cheaper than over at the RS and about 1/3rd the price of an Arsenal match...... I'm not saying that it's cheap but if fans want Everton to be a big player then the money has to be generated somehow. £37 is less than you would pay to see a game of rugby union and they have a wage cap.......

Suppose it's like everything nowadays. The cost of a concert and festivals for example. crazy times. Christ i'm only 30 and i'm getting to sound like a right old fart.

Yeah, so expensive. Would have liked to see a price freeze this season with the extra money from sky, 44 for Chelsea:(. Had to go alone to the West Brom game, couldn't take my daughter.

around 2003/5 I think an adult tkt in the lower gladdy was £18. and the only game which was more was the derby by like £2. it's ridiculous, last year was my worst season in terms of match going, only went to 3 and I live around the corner. I can't sneak out to the game now cos the kids are old enough to know where I'm going and wanna come with, believe me I wanna take them but it's not financially possible.

Sickening to hear families being priced out of going to the game.

Stubhubs sometimes good for cheaper Adult + kids tickets.

And that's for a game you can watch for nothing on tv. Madness. It,ll be embarrassing playing Chelsea in front of the live cameras in front of a crowd of under 30,000. It happened last season of course when a sky game against CIty attracted only 29000 and tickets for that we're only a couple of quid higher, not £5! If anything prices for televised games should be lower than normal since the club is already getting £300000 off sky for the game anyway. I haven't missed a home game for a number of seasons now but I won't be paying £44 for Chelsea. I'm drawing a line. And £44 is way above it.

The attendance for the Chelsea game won't be below 30,000.... The night game against Arsenal last season had 37,000 attendance.
