i don't know about anyone else, but I have really taken to this Thursday night lark.

I love going the European home games of a Thursday......I love spending my afternoon getting built up for the 17.00 C.E.T. kick offs on TV...I love the ones that kick off two hours later.

Please go through tonight Blues so I can have at keast two more blessed Thursdays ;)

...that's a murderous schedule no one else has had to endure apart from Arsenal...who can handle it with their squad and experience. You'd think at the beginning of the season the club secretary and CEO would sit down and study that domestic and European fixture list and try and get some satisfaction.

I have to say, it gives me something to look forward to on Thursday. The Europa is a terrible drain on teams, but I would be perfectly satisfied to press on in the competition and just be safe in the league, whatever that position might be.

We couldn't have Liverpool experience a challenging schedule now, could we?

I dont mind Thursdays, i just hate Sunday, its awful. I dont mind it once in a while but as a regular things its terrible, just glad we wont be doing it next year and might have a decent league season again, so as its stands its Champions League for us or nothing!!

The one that really annoyed me was the Untied one as the kick off was the early Sunday one as well. i know Manchester isn't far way but we hardly got off the plane before we had to get back on the pitch.

I've enjoyed it but going the home games against Lille, Krasnodar, YB and DK have been bitterly cold haha. Plus it always seems to rain!

It's a bit harder away than at home...especially after you've been on the road travelling...it means even more travelling.

To be honest Dave, I don't think it is much iof a thang.

And in fact, two of those away games were in Manchester and in Burnley.....no travel involved at all to speak off.

...yep, unlike others I'm not at all embarrassed being in the so called lesser competition.
