The thumbs aren't for me Dan, the lack of a message to explain why I've liked or disliked a post is disappointing.

Old rep, revised please. Something like the one point up or down per rep would be best.

It was fun to play with something different for a bit but a tweaked version of the old system is the way forward.

I find it much more convenient. I've been thumbing more than I used to rep but its not as satisfying to receive as there's less effort involved. If someone reps and leaves a comment, they've put more effort in so I feel I've earned something. The message is needed.

I just don't like mate. Here's why:

- it's a bit bookfacey
- I've found that some awesome posts deserve much more than a thumb up
- it is still possible to annihilate someone. As Tubey pointed out if someone doesn't like you, they can just thumb down every post you've ever done.
- not convinced on the aesthetics.

At the end of the day though, it's up to you. If it cost money defo keep it and get your money's worth!!
And the day it first appeared was beyond awesome. Bungle and Fozzy annihilated everyone and it was hilarious!

Just my thoughts.

I voted to keep the thumb system, but if you're thinking of going back to rep:

- Remove the anonymity aspect when you're not a forum supporter
- Single point neg/pos rep
- Limit to how many negs per day or something

IMO
