Did you ever fill one completely as a kid?
I don't know anyone who ever did.
You could probably flog a full and old one for decent money if you had it in good condition. And even if you couldn't, you'd be a legend on the playground for all of eternity.

i was the poor kid in school who could only get 2 packs of stickers a week,,,, i had 2 brothers and a sister who also collected but there was a knobhead manure supporter only child who had 2 working parents so in our eyes was minted, he used to be the one who would get 5 packs a day and be first to finish his book every year ffs....... you always get 1 wherever you go in life.

I did one once, but my memory is for **** so I can't remember the exact season. Might have been 98/99 because I remember the vile One2One kit. Had to send away for the last 5 or so, remember opening the envelope outside St George's Hall. Lost it years ago though.

Filled 86/87 one (which I think also included Scottish top flight) and also filled world cup 90. That one came in a big hardback folder and was advertised by Brian clough. Don't have 'em now, like. Showing my age now

i remember the world cup mexico 86 book, they were not stickers but clear plastic with the players faces on them and you slotted in the 4 corners in the book,,, funnily now thinking about it the smell of the plastic cards comes back to me,, weird.

have I got the correct year then ??? could have sworn the plastics were 86 ,,,,, i would have been just a tad too young to remember 82...i might ask a red****e, they are clued up on plastics.
