Utter Cad.
Me mum and dad used to always have a cylindrical carton of 50 JPS cigs and a tray of Eat Me dates on hand at Christmas, not to mention a bowl of Quality Street and some "cheese snips" nibbles on the coffee table. Tangerines, of course, too although we have to call them satsumas these days.
Me and Mrs Giraffe like to have a nice piece of stilton, a bottle of fino sherry and a bottle of decent quality port on hand these days - bit 'posher' than the old days, I suppose. Bit more alky, too. I miss the Quality Street right now though - good job we're heading north for Christmas.
What do you and your family usually treat themselves to at Christmas that they don't ordinarily have?
