When talking about the best players in the world you always hear the usual Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Bale, Ribery, Zlatan etc. How often do you hear Thomas Muller mentioned? Cause in my eyes he is right up there. Even this world cup the pundits are all calling for Rodriguez or Robben as the player of the tournament yet the seem to completely ignore Muller, although he did get second place, who was the clear winner for me. Even during the past two seasons for bayern you'd believe it's the robben Ribery show, even Neuer and Lahm seem to be talked about more than this guy.

Maybe he is not as exciting or as pleasing on the eye as some of the previous mentioned, but for me he has been the star of the show for Germany and Bayern. There's just a beautiful simplicity to his game, he's good at so many things without particularly excelling at any. He's efficient is what I'm saying does the simple things consistently and effectively. He can play anywhere along the front line and be just as reliable in any position. At 24 he's already won it all and already has 9 world cup goals to his name. Maybe I'm hanging out in the wrong circles but I really think he deserves to be talked about as one of the best players in the world.

His work rate is unmatched but seriously when have we ever seen a defender or a goalkeeper win these things, 100 percent of them are attacking players
 

that these awards are pointless and doesn't give enough credit to other players. yes muller is an attacking player he has good overall skills but when germany are without the ball , he works hard, chases them McCarthy style. his covers a lot of ground
 
He's boss but I hate him lads. Have you seen his celebration where just stands still and just jumps up and down?

Big fan of Thomas Müller. I confess I didn't know too much about him before the 2010 World Cup. What a player!

He calls himself a Raumdeuter. Sort of like Spacefinder. He specialises in finding and using pockets of space the opposition isn't aware of.



How cool is that?
