The weather forecasters are saying the max temperature is -4 today.

Well that may be the case in the cities. But where I am right now the max temp was -9.5C


The cities are warmer due to the amount of housing. Outside the cities it's colder.

Its been about -8c here. Which has caused no end of fun at work with air brakes on lorries freezing up and welders not working.
