Football oh football what a cruel game, I've bit my tongue on Roberto hoping on the fact we may win the FA Cup this season but we didn't. I'm a really optimistic person always find the positive in a negative situation though what positive's can we take from this season? When we're underachieving with a squad that is potentially world class. I hate the negativity associated with the club, I hate how the players don't care, and I hate Roberto's tactics.
Every game that I either go to or illegally stream on the web we play the same boring football we pass the ball around the defence then overplay it, lose it and then concede. Teams find it so easy to play against us because most of them sit back and hit us on the counter-attack. In a season where people have figured out that 4-4-2 and counter attacking works just as well if not better than the Spanish 4-5-1 we play every game.
Bobby's tactics, oh we're losing a game 1-0, make one change in the 80th minute and then bring Mirallas on in stoppage time. I really don't see what's wrong with playing Mirallas on the left or Deulofeu both have played there 2 years ago instead he plays Cleverly or Kone in a sort of free role position which is irratating. I genuinely would understand if Kev leaves next season, he's one of our best players and he's keeping the bench warm every game.
Lukaku, most of you would say he's been one of our best players this season and I would agree with that but he's only playing at about 40% each game. He thinks he's going to PSG or Dortmund nae chance mate not when you're missing 5 sitters each game, then complain when the pass isn't right to you. Comparing the lad to Harry Kane, Harry makes run's in behind, Harry busts a gut to get into the box and he's a winner every game he looks like he cares and gives 100% for the team. Seeing Rom walk about the pitch and winge for 90 mins is not worth the £40 matchday ticket or my live stream. We get the ball out to Baines or Lennon on the byline then you're not in the box Rom.
Ross Barkley plays too deep in midfield so Rom is left on his own up top. Ross should be playing in the channel between the oppositions defence in midfield. Instead he's picking up the ball in near enough the defence.
Should Roberto keep his job, I don't think so. The reason we did so well in the 2013-14 season is because we still played with Moyes' defensive tactics, Distin, Jags, Stones, Coleman, Baines and Howard were unstoppable. Then over the two seasons that defence style has filtered out. Bobby's saying we've got to two semi finals and last season was the last English team in europe. Yeah that's right two semi finals that you got tactically wrong and don't make me laugh the round of 16 in the Europa isn't an achievement. I worked out we've dropped around 20+ points from winning positions this season, we have the worst home record baring Villa and we have won 20 matches in the past two seasons when in the 2013/14 season we won 19. It's terrible. We should be up near Tottenham instead we're cosy in midtable playing lazy football with half arsed players.
