Player Valuation: Free Transfer
I suppose this is as good a time as any.
Long time lurker on the site and have spent many an hour laughing or fuming in varying degrees. Highlights like the Monorail, Moutinho love in and the investigation into the curious disappearance on the Arteta money instantly come to mind.
Right I had better get the formalities out of the way. Im from Liverpool born and bred currently residing in the city in a "sound" section of Chico's Merseyrail map. Found the forum over ten years ago and revisit often through the years. Became an Evertonian as a child when we were the best team in the world. Had the 85 squad plastered over my room, full kit ,towel, badges, clock the lot. Went to first game with my Dad when i was younger all i really remember is it was standing and we won.
All time favourite player im going with Peter Reid i loved his combativeness, work rate and right amount of nasty, even at my young age he seemed a player that is so good to have and a nightmare to play against. Current favourite player from this squad is a tough one and unfortunately not because we are spoilt for choice. Going with Pickford as i firmly believe we would have been relegated without some of his saves.
For the controversial part, pineapple on pizza, thats a no, infact while you are taking it off the pizza just throw it in the bin.
Now to my confession, I was there...
I was there against Coventry in 98. I invaded the pitch after the game. I shouted Johnson Out in the centre circle for about an hour. This chain of events led to Bill Kenwright getting his vice like grip onto Everton Football Club and destroying it.
Ok just one more thing to get off my chest.
So you remember those expensive lawn mowers the club had to buy? I dont think it was anything to do with me tearing a chunk of turf out of the playing field on said night and wearing it as a hat as i danced out the stadium. Im almost fifty percent absolutely kinda certain it didn't leave uneven ground breaking the previous lawn mowers and adding to the infamous "other operating costs".
Listen i know i'm sorry , honestly its eaten me up for decades.
In all honesty thank you to Danny, Mods and all involved for the genuinely great site.
Can i have permissions to get into the world football forum again pretty please. You won't have to read my ramblings then and i can return to lurking till 2033.
