Frang

has anyone got any experience of doing this ??

thinking of a medium sized dog. not really into pugs and those types of small dogs.

through the years weve previously had a springer spaniel and a boxer dog. but not had one for a while now.

think its time to get another.

My one i got 4 years ago from Dogs Trust Merseyside https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/dogs/filters/liv~~~~~n~ ,my 1st ever rescue dog-as previous 2 have lived for years 12 and 16 years, my one now below was 49months old supposedly when i got her,now had her 47months,best thing i ever did after my 16 year old passed away 4 weeks before i got below one-that 4 week gap was the only time ive not had a dog in 29 or so years, and i will be doing it again,Someone a volunteer will come and check your house etc, probably the garden living room just to make sure its safe for dog and it wont jump over fence and so on

I hate to think what the “ volunteer “ would make of the sea of empty pot noodle cartons and empty bottles of Frosty Jack in Franks living room.
