Got the dvd pre-ordered as I never got round to seeing at the cinema. The book is fantastic, highly recommended if you've not read it.

Back on topic (ffs) Everton are just one big, grinding, relentless dissapointment. So I would liken us to post-university life!

The team that Everton's most compared to here in the States is the Oakland Athletics. Problem is that with success on a shoestring budget comes other teams realizing "hey, we can do the same thing as Oakland/Everton, but with more money!"

And then we're screwed.

It doesn't work in football. There are reams and reams of articles saying why.
