Same here.

I can plaster a wall ( after a fashion ), repoint brickwork, do basic plumbing and 'leccy work but wallpaper is evil, couple it with paste and you just end up with a gooey mess.

I've stripped paper off walls, skimmed them and painted the plaster rather than trying to paper the damned things.

I can 'do' wallpaper, but I'm never happy with the results. Gaps between the joins, terrible doing the corners, and invariably a rip or two which I just try to realign badly.

Just go for painting now.

I hate gardening,The fella who use to live next door to me ma in Dovecot had the best idea when the garden needed its first cut in the spring would pour petrol all over his lawn the set fire to it job done.

DIY wise I can turn my hand to most things, the one thing I never tackle (more because I hate it) is glossing the woodwork, can't be doing with all that rubbing down etc, bores me to death!

I can tackle most DIY, fitted a shower today.

Car stuff beyond changing a wheel, topping up oil/water/screen wash and cleaning it.

I'll try most things construction related, providing it isn't electrical or plumbing related. I'd have a go at rewiring I reckon but F*** doing anything with live electrics.
