Please someone on here admit to sawing off the branch of a tree that was holding their ladder up.

I drilled through my thumb about 20 years ago with a 4mm bit, is that worth mentioning here? Technically the bit snapped and the drill didn't stop until it had gone through the thumb and into the wood of the workbench. It was quite tricky to remove the drill bit, since it was firmly stuck in the wood and the drill weight was being held by my good hand and the other hand was, well, pinned.

A squirt of tcp through the hole, some kitchen towel and a bit of insulation tape did the trick and I carried on my job.

There was the day as an 18 year old I accidentally stabbed my thigh with a Stanley blade .... twice ... about 6 hours apart ... in the same spot (the second time the blade pierced the plaster I'd put on in the morning.

Ruined two pairs of jeans that day.

Molten mig wire, through the glove into the thumb, nothing scars like heat, crater to today. I was not amused. Carried on, gave foreman hardtime over nothing to feel better.
