And EVERY other Star Wars movie has big speeches, silly hair, people doing what they shouldn't do, the Empire chasing Rebels across the galaxy when they could easily wipe them out at any given time, silly secrets, filed escape plans.......want me to go on?

You’re saying that Star Wars is a bit crap but OK for kids. I concur.

And the bit about Rogue One. It was stupid to destroy the Death Star? That was the whole point of the first film.

The only thing Disney did a sterling job of was to realise they could pack cinemas serving up any old tripe. TLJ wasn't a bad Star Wars film, it was a bad film full stop. Boring and disjointed, nothing to do with fanboyism.

We have derailed the thread. And at this point should end the discussion. You don't like the TLJ, as many others don't. I do and that is all I care about. Disney and SW has kept me enthralled since 1977, and the new movies are boss, all of them. If they ruin other peoples enjoyment or fan boy theories and expectations, I don't really care, and like that, as it proves Im an individual with my own personal tastes and opinions. Heck we all support the same football team, but some of us don't agree on players, managers and tactics!
