Things you don’t understand

I will never understand people who buy these things. They cost tons of money, are expensive to maintain, and difficult to drive. And usually people just drive them, across states, from one Wal-Mart parking lot to another so that they can unhitch the car they were towing and drive to Hardee's. The median age of the driver is usually 77.

Well as long as she's doing that!

Do you know how many hoops I have to jump through to get one these days? When we first met it was like going out with a Henry hoover now I'm a bloody trapeze artist just for her to even contemplate going anywhere near there. Remember that scene in Bottom when Richie is perving into someones window and says "Imagine she asks for a bit and he says not tonight love the snookers on" well there you have it. They've taken over the world and I'm gutted I wasn't born 20 years earlier.

How did we get to this point in football, a tiny number of clubs with a realistic chance of a trophy, the rest happy to survive. A rulebook so obtuse and counterintuitive overseen by a system no paying fan wants, broadcast by a company so invested in hyping their increasingly tedious fare that North Korean propaganda workers would blush. FIFA, UEFA, organisations so corrupt they have moved past the point of parody.

How did we get here? Fans of players not clubs, arguing about who is the greatest, sports washing, the imposition of narrative.

I'm boring myself, as you were.

TLDR: James Corden
