After decorating the hallway to compliment the new kitchen, the next thing was to gloss the front door.
I hate glossing, as though I'm a decent painter, it's something I only get to do every few years now and therefore never warmed up.
A few hours later, my door was finished.
Gold flaked effect around the windows and panels with brilliant white inbetween.
After waiting for a few runs to settle ( none drip gloss turns yellow btw so don't use it if you want to stay white ) I thought great, a quick clear up and I can snag it tomorrow.
Having a dog and a cat, I was sure to remove anything that could be trodden in, or spilt, and put a little barrier in front of the door before going up for a bath.
Well, whilst in the bath, I heard the dog whining, so presuming he just wanted to have a leak, I finished off, and went downstairs.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
The [Poor language removed] had only spotted a hedgehog outside the front door, and gone mental standing on 2 legs to try and get a better view through the side window.
I had paw prints all over the door, and footprints right through the hallway ( luckily tiled ) and all over the new kitchen floor.
Up the stairs had their fair share, as did the wooden floor in the living room.
I'd only been in the bath for an hour to soak which is quick for me as I love to keep adding hot water normally.
So instead of being able to chill, I had to re-do much of the door and clean the damn floors.
Needless to say I was not a happy bunny, so that's my grrrrrr for the week, and it's only 00:25 Monday.
