There is a very good chance that we will end the year 2013 in the Top 4 - yet as we know all of the other clubs in the Top 8 at present have far vaster financial assets than we do.

The likes of United, Chelski, Arsenal and the ****e will obviously bring in big-money reinforcements.

We'll have Aiden McGeady and ....... (Insert Loanees Names).

Would hate to see us fade away because Moyes and Co splash the cash.

Can we strengthen our squad whilst remaining level with the 'Top 4'?

I have been thinking about this a lot.

Any purchases may be overpriced in January. And we're allowed one more loan, is that right ???

Really don't think we're going to be buying anyone in the prem, anyone who we'd want would probably be at a top four rival.

We need Roberto to wave his magic wand, we need to uncover a gem. And I think we need the gem up front.

Don't see any value in Zaha tbh - if he was good enough he'd be playing for United ahead of Welbeck who I wouldn't want at Everton.

We bought McCarthy ... Most of us fumed.
We got Barry ... Most of us fumed.

I've already learnt my lesson so I trust Bobby to do the right thing and whatever deals he does I'll be right behind him.

Kone looks to be out for a while, Zaha on loan till the end of the season seems alright. Rather play him than Naismith

I think the one remaining loan slot has to come from abroad, we already have the maximum number of loans allowed between Premier League clubs? I'd love for us to get Donovan back on loan, I think he would really help us out over that new year period, it may be unlikely though.

We do lack squad depth. Injuries to Lukaku, or any of our central midfielders or central defenders would leave us struggling. I think we need cover for each of those positions; striker, CM and CD.

pretty certain it's 2 domestic loans per club. lukaku and barry cover that. more lazy journalism suggesting zaha on loan to us. Astounding how poor the quality of journalism on the premier league is. I saw the loan zaha rumour circulating on australian press via the uk and almost choked on my cornflakes.

Deulofeu is on the treatment table in Spain now telling Messi how boss we are and how we play sexier football than Barca, he's thinking about it lads :)

M'Vila for £8-10 mil (most of the remaining felliani money probably) Donavon on a month loan to cover Del's absence and flog jelly and heitinga and bring a replacement striker hopefully a potential signing like batshuyai if not Long wouldn't be a bad option of the bench
