Have to agree utter desperation,madness call it what you will seriously that lad is not worth that sort of money not now not ever.

The world has gone mad,but then again i recall one of king kenny's last signings first time round in charge of the ****e was David Speedie and he was crap too and they paid over the odds for him.

Kenny will be in tears before long

David Villa cost £32 million. I know everyone probably knows that already, but I think its worth repeating just to emphasise how utterly ****ing ludicrous that Carroll bid is, though not as mind-bafflingly insane as Newcastle turning it down.

I think in all honesty a salary cap and a realistic one at that HAS to happen will it though before its too late?

I've got 3 sponsored Lions, 2 homeless dogs that someone threw away, and, 15 wells under construction in Africa, yet I still have to pay £1.75 for a bottle of Evian, and £0.89p for a can of Coke where I live.

I'd rather walk the 3 miles across arid desert FFS.

Diesel is now £1.34 a litre.....A LITRE....thats like $10 a gallon...

So £30m for a Geordie that will probably never do anything for England FC is a little hard to stomach....
