Here's how the vote went where I live:

Labour - 71%
Lib Dem - 13%
Cons - 9%
BNP - 4%

I think my vote was worth around a hundredth of someones in a "swing" area of the country. Made no difference whatsoever which was I voted so I just voted against Brown for a personal laugh really.

When plenty of other Labour voters defected "for a laugh" it handed the Tories power mate.

Apparently Cameron stated that "police were being dragged from their horses and beaten" when in fact there was only one incident in which a policeman was removed from his horse and then suffered injury......

i was flicking between 3 news channels for about 5-6 hours and i seen with my own eyes on live tv mounted policeman pelted with things and plenty actually hit with sticks and poles.

my daughter (a student) mentioned how much the rioters were A holes for wacking the horses too.

only 1 mounted policeman was taken to hospital with serious injuries , but the rest must have had less serious ones ... in fact im amazed a policeman wasnt killed.
