Granted we will probably get at most 15 full league games out of Saha, and Gueye's inclusion is harsh on Ossie but with the squad we have now I put that at about our strongest.

The Goalkeeper -- Because we have no superstar u-21 player in our squad. I like Howard but hes not top 4 material.

The defence -- We need a replacement for Distin as he doesnt work well with Baines or Jags and lacks passing skill which we need in a partner for the super Jagielka. Coleman and Baines I'd have flying down the wings.

The midfield -- Neville as a marshall between the defence and midfield covering for Baines/Coleman when they are at the other end of the pitch.....keeping us safe from fast counter attacks.

Rodwell and Fellaini pushed on further as Neville is covering them....allowing Rodwell to attack and Fellaini to be the 'link man'.

Bilyaletdinov and Arteta pushed slightly inside to allow for the marauding Coleman and Baines.

Attack -- We only have one forward.....Anichebe is a disaster/Yak is finished and Saha is a crock.

Basically, would go 4-4-2 but seeing as we will 80%+ of the time play with one striker, I'd go with this. Cahill hasn't been played out and out midfield for a long time and I think a simple role will suit him as he gets older. It's not like he can't get stuck in or pass. I'd also think Gueye can be nurtured to be a very decent player sooner, rather than later. He can whip in good crosses from what I've seen.

I want to see Coleman eased into the RB slot. He's not a RM and I think carrying on there is going to ultimately be detrimental to his career. I think we'd have to see with the home formation whether or not it all falls to bits without Neville on the park as it has had a tendency to ove the last couple of years. Like to see Billy get some time, too. I still want him to succeed. Rodwell needs time on the pitch with Fellaini, too, as I think those two are the future. I want to actually see some rotation from Moyes, too, as I think a lot of the injuries we suffer are from over-using the same players.

Because the 4-5-1/4-4-1-1 with Saha and Cahill worked so well for us last season...

I'd really rather us sign a proper right winger though. And a more reliable replacement for Saha.
 
I'd like to see us switching to a 4-4-2 more often during games, and especially when we play the lower bottom of the league. We can't be shut down by the likes of Wolves like we were last season and with Becks hopefully developing even further.

I see the 4-5-1 being much like this year; Howard - Hibbert/Neville, Jags, Distin, Baines - Fellaini - Coleman, Rodwell, Osman/Arteta, Gueye - Saha/Beckford and then switch to 4-4-2; Howard - Hibbert/Neville, Jags, Distin, Baines - Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Gueye - Beckford, Saha.

To get the most out of Beckford I feel we need to play a 4-4-2, and from looking through the roster we need to strenghten the right flank and some cover for most of the other positions as well.

Some of our fans scare me with how they think, Billyaletinov in our starting 11??? absolutely no chance , but we will have to go with what we've got anyway , the back 5 picks it's self , Arteta wide left , ossie / rodwell playing next to big felli, and Seamus wide right , with fingers crossed Saha and Beckford up top , with Tim Cahill being a potent impact player with gueye off the bench too. Billyaletinov looks like hes playing with a virus and needs a course of antibiotics down him , I'd take anything over 4.5 million for him

Don't quote me on that team as I may change my mind. If we were to sign say Zog, he would replace Gueye and Demba Ba would replace one of the front two. 4-4-2 works well for us when we've tried it. Very harsh to leave Osman out, I'm a grear admirer of his but I think we are overstocked with class midfielders that should be playing better than him. Coleman should probably be RM but i'd love to see some overlap play with a right midfielder. I've left out the Captain, great leader but does he offer that much technically? I'm not sure.

Thinking Moyes will stick with Arteta and Cahill. Always has, always will.

I fancy seeing the likes of Osman, Billy, and Ross Barkley in the midfield too. Up front, bit of a rotation there, Beckford and Saha, maybe the Yak if he stays. Open to seeing Vellios too though.
