If you've ever been then you'd agree with the above, some really ace pubs and bars in the city.

What's your favourite though?

Loads for me, but narrowing it down its The Ship & Mitre, Hole in the Wall and The Philharmonic.

I've only been out in Liverpool three times! Baa Bar for beers and shots. Modo's on Concert Square for a pitcher of whatever the **** they put in there, then Crazy House or Med on a Wednesday! Booming.

Theres a cracking Irish bar near central station, might be O'Neills not sure. Met an old mate i hadn't seen since i was 17 in there, what was the odds of that?

Downstairs during the week when the band's on. I'm often in there in the summer.

You'll spot us dead easy as me mate's pester the band for dirty old town.

ha ha so do mine.

It's normally on a 40 minute rota anyway, you just have to wait for it to come round.

Wilson's was far superior, but it got closed down (16 - 18 years ago).

Stunk of skunk, sawdust on the floor, twenty pence on the juke box and you could always score on the upstairs balcony.

There's some trendy wine bar there now.
