From a footballing perspective who should they support?

For me I'm dead set against having these peninsula dwelling goblins anywhere near Everton.

They've got a perfectly fine club representative of the talent in the Wirral in Tranmere Rovers, it's natural for them to half support Tranmere and half support "Atleti" as every single one of them I know are all over the foreign football and sneering at British football because of it. As though they can view the game in a superior way to others through the prism of stepovers and deep lying playmakers.
